TeliaSonera has launched the world's first commercial LTE networks, covering the city of Stockholm in Sweden and the city of Oslo in Norway.

The Swedish network was supplied by Ericsson, with Huawei supplying the Oslo network.

TeliaSonera's customers are the first to have access to the LTE service by commercially available Samsung LTE dongles.

Both networks were launched earlier than originally planned.
